The owners, Skip and Cindi Causey, are Widewater residents who had a dream of
opening up their own winery. Dream talk, their daughter Chelsea called it. The
Causeys trace their interest back to the early 1990s when they started visiting
wineries in the Napa Valley and Sonoma regions of California. They based Potomac
Point Vineyard and Winery on multiple Mediterranean cultures, Italian, French,
Spanish as well as American - specifically Napa and New Orleans.
Skip and Cindi are proud to offer their current vintages as well as future

Event Coordinator

Laura Lohman, our Event Coordinator is originally from central New Jersey and moved to
the Northern Virginia area in 2005, after graduating from Syracuse University,
with a bachelor's degree in Communications & Rhetorical Studies. Laura spent
over two years working in the meeting & event planning industry as a meeting &
event coordinator. On the side, Laura assisted brides with their wedding
day-of-coordination, specializing in contract negotiations, organization, and
vendor relations. She is a member of the Fredericksburg Hospitality Council, the
Northern Neck Wine Trail, the Prince William Chamber of Commerce and the
Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce. Laura is excited to become a member
of the Potomac Point team and looks forward to coordinating your next event.

Vineyard Assistant

Jorge Charos, our Vineyard Assistant, is invaluable in the multitude of ways he
makes Potomac Point Vineyard better everyday. A Widewater resident, he assists
the winemakers, growers and owners with the endless tasks and details to make
our facility run smoothly. If you see him, don't forget to say "iBuenos Dias!" |
